On 23rd June 2016 the Southern Sydney Collaborative Professional group met for the first time. We had the support of our Collaborative Professionals registration body, with Sue Abrams attending our meeting representing the Collaborative Professionals (NSW) Inc.
The Southern Sydney Collaborative Professionals Group is the first of its kind in all Southern Sydney Regions, to support trained professionals such as lawyers, mediators, psychologists, financial advisers and accountants when they are involved in helping separated couples reaching respectful resolutions without going to court.
We look forward to introducing new members to our group, and providing our members with a collegiate atmosphere in which to support one another. Our group aims to provide training, and make sure that the message is spread through our community about the difference that a Collaborative Practice can bring to the lives of a family going through separation.
